Commanding an enviable location, a few minutes walk from town and set in large private gardens. The house has direct access to the river and plenty of outside space to enjoy the mountain views, dine alfresco, or relax with an apéritif after a day in the mountains.

The ground floor has a twin bedroom with en-suite, large open plan lounge with large comfortable sofas, tv and wood burner for the colder months . There is a dining table seating fourteen with patio doors to the terrace. The entrance hallway is spacious and light with table and chairs beside french doors from where to enjoy morning coffee and plan the day's activities. French doors open out to a furnished terrace, garden and BBQ area. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped for your self-catered needs.

There is a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board and direct access to the secure garage for bike/sports equipment storage.

A staircase leads to the first floor where there are six bedrooms, one twin bedroom with single beds and balcony, one double room with balcony and ensuite, one single bedroom, one large dorm room sleeping five in single beds, and king size bedroom with ensuite shower room/wc, and balcony. There are two additional shower rooms with wc.

The house has a long driveway with space for several vehicles.

For a week of winter sports with 10 adults and a baby rented the house. Reason daily to Les 2 Alpes for skiing. House gave a lot of privacy because we were five couples and everyone had their own bedroom with bathroom. House was a short walk to the center of Bourg-d Oisans.

The fully fitted kitchen, recently renovated has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, double oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen equipment you need to cater during your stay. The dining area has a large table seating ten with french doors leading to the side terrace. The lounge area has stylish corner sofas and flat screen tv with free view channels. A second set of french doors lead from the living area onto the front furnished terrace and garden. For warmth in the winter months the house has under-floor heating and wood burning stove making a cosy winter getaway.

The house has a large secure garage for the safe storage of your bikes and sports equipment. A long driveway offers off road parking. The large garden, furnished terrace, with sun loungers and BBQ provides a lovely area to relax or dine al fresco and enjoy the beautiful mountain view.

We had a very nice week in this accommodation. It is a great house, we have been very comfortable and despite the low temperatures outside, inside the house we have been perfect. Close to the ski slopes by car, which allowed us to spend a very good week. The owner was very nice and helped us with everything we needed.

A modern townhouse located in a quiet side street in the heart of Bourg d'Oisans. You enter this delightful town house via a short staircase directly into the first floor bright open plan kitchen diner/ lounge. The kitchen is newly fitted with all modern conveniences and fully equipped to self cater. There is a large dining table with seating to accommodate six people. The stylish lounge is comfortable with a large sofa, side tables and two chairs.

Stairs lead to the first floor, which has two large nicely decorated twin bedrooms, both with plenty of wardrobe space and village views. All beds and mattresses are new as of July 2018 and are of a very high quality.

There is a family bathroom with semi circular bath and power shower. Overhead cupboards offer ample storage for personal items.

The second floor bedroom at the top of the house is large with twin beds, tasteful decor and a triangular attic window with views of the mighty Alpe D'huez. There is also a wc.

On the street level of the house, a door opens into a huge cave, which is suitable for bike storage and winter sports equipment. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The street is quiet and offers plenty of space for washing bikes.

This impressive detached three-story house is ideally situated in an enviable location in Bourg d’Oisans, offering incredible uninterrupted mountain views.

The ground floor has a secure garage for bike storage accessible from inside and outside the property and is equipped with track pump, tool kit and work stand. There is ample space to store bikes, bike boxes, skis and winter sports equipment. The large entrance hallway provides a welcoming area with access to the garage and stairs leading to the first floor.

The floor of the house has a large fully equipped kitchen, gas hob and electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all the necessary items to enjoy a self-catered holiday. To the right of the kitchen is a separate store room with a large freezer, microwave and additional storage space for food items.

To the left of the kitchen is a large and comfortable living room with wood burner, comfy sofas, tv with full satellite package, DVD, and Wi-Fi. There is large dining table and chairs for 10 guests. French doors open from the lounge onto a furnished terrace with spectacular views towards the high peaks of Ecrins National Parc.

From the lounge and kitchen, you pass into a large corridor from where there are doors leading to a bathroom with bath and overhead shower attachment and a separate wc. Two large bedrooms lead from the corridor, they are bright and modern with twin beds that are convertible to double beds. All bedrooms have been recently renovated providing a unique and highly comfortable modern space.

From the first-floor corridor stairs lead to down to the ground and second floors.

On the second floor there are a further two large bedrooms, one with twin beds convertible to double/single beds and a second larger family bedroom with twin beds convertible to double/single beds. All beds are new as of 2018 and are good quality adult sized single beds which can be converted to doubles. The rooms also have wardrobes/storage. There is a second bathroom with shower cubicle and wc.

The house has a washing machine and dryer.

The house has private electric gated parking with space for two cars. There is additional parking available in the quiet cul-de-sac if required.

The First-floor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy the evening sunshine after your ride, or in winter the beautiful snowy alpine scene. The outside space also provides a lovely area with picnic benches to enjoy the mountain views of the valley or have a BBQ in summer.

The house is a short walk from the centre of the town and outdoor swimming pool, and the large supermarket is just a minute away.

Large and very comfortable house ideally located for travelling between Les Deux Alpes and Alpe D'Huez and Grenoble/Chamrousse. The new lift at Allemont really saved on time to get up the Alpe D'Huez ski area quickly without going up all the 21 bends! The house was very well equipped and so close to a very large supermarket. We had planned to go out more in the evenings into Bourg but the house was so lovely and cosy we stayed in and chilled after long days on the slopes. We can imagine this would be a great base for the summer too.

this is an ideal location for biking and trail running, all routes within easy reach. supermarket is 5 mins away. The property had all amenities...we had a bbq on two separate evenings. The balcony is a sun trap from 9am to 5pm, and the garden allows you to enjoy the evening sun. Gayle is a great host. she gives clear instructions to locate and enter the property. She follows up to see how you are enjoying your stay and directions to vacate. We will definitely return to this property.

Situated in the centre of Bourg d’Oisans on a quiet street, the apartment is on the second floor of a small newly built modern apartment building and is accessed via a short external staircase on the side of the building. There is a long private furnished terrace in front of the apartment with the most incredible views over the rooftops of Bourg d’Oisans to Alpe d’huez, Les Deux Alpes and the other local climbs.

The main door opens into a stunning open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with all new modern furnishings, additionally there is a wall mounted tv, modern record player with mp3, and glossy cycling books to peruse in the quieter moments. The kitchen is newly fitted and fully equipped to self-cater with all modern conveniences, dishwasher and the latest Nespresso machine with milk warmer fully stocked with pods. There is a large extendable dining table with seating to accommodate six people. The stylish lounge is modern and bright, there is plenty of comfortable seating in front of the French doors from where to relax and enjoy the mountain views, or catch up with sporting events on tv.

The ground floor has a lovely bright bathroom, with large shower cubicle and wc. Shampoo and shower gel are supplied.

Stairs lead to the first floor, and the spacious beautifully decorated twin bedroom with plenty of storage space, and direct access to a second furnished terrace. The second single bedroom is open plan and set beside the door to a further bathroom with shower, wc and washing machine. The single bedroom has storage for clothes in the area directly outside the bathroom, there is also a laundry drying area and access onto the terrace.

A second set of stairs lead from the first-floor corridor to the third tastefully decorated loft style bedroom with twin beds lovely furnishings. The large triangular attic window provides stunning mountain views. All beds and mattresses and furnishings are new as of April 2019 and are of a very high quality.

On street level at the back of the building there is private cave providing secure storage for bikes and sports equipment. The cave is equipped with bike racks, track pump, buckets sponges and all the essential tools required. Directly outside the building there are bike racks and plenty of space to wash bikes.

This fabulous house offers exceptional cyclist/ski friendly self-catered accommodation in a beautiful setting.

Previously a popular gite and now under new ownership since March 2023, Le Catelan is ideal for larger groups and families seeking spacious accommodation close to all amenities. Situated just a 5 minute drive/ride from the centre of Bourg d'Oisans and to the ski lift in Allemond.

*For larger groups it is possible to rent together the small house situated beside Le Catelan, Le Petite Catelan. This allows groups of up to 23. They are separate houses with their own bike stores, garden and parking. A great option for large groups.

The main house has a cosy chalet style, spacious interior set over two floors, and can accommodate 16 people comfortably in five nicely decorated bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom and separate WC.

The house also benefits from secure bike/ski storage, WiFi, laundry, TV, furnished garden, private parking for several vehicles.

An external staircase leads to the first-floor terrace, on the left side of the terrace is the entrance to a separate rental accommodation and to the right is the entrance of Le Catelan. You enter directly into the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area.

The living room has a welcoming, mountain style interior and a fabulous wood burning stove, TV, and comfortable sofas. There are two dining tables with seating for 18 guests and a well equipped professional kitchen with high quality kitchen appliances including a large fridge freezer, gas stove, coffee machine and dishwasher, making self-catering on holiday a pleasure!

The larger of the five bedrooms is on the first floor and has a double and single bed with a further two child beds on the mezzanine. The en suite bathroom has a full bath.

The other four bedrooms are on the ground floor accessible by an external staircase. Each bedroom has a combination of either double or single beds and adult sized bunk beds to cater for all group types. All bedrooms have a modern en suite bathroom with bath or shower,WC and plenty of storage for personal items.

To the side of the building on the ground floor is a large secure bike store, equipped with bike tools, wall hooks, track pump and stand. There are also ski racks and space to store winter sports equipment.

The house has an enviable location set in pretty gardens with wonderful outdoor space to relax in or enjoy an evening aperitif. There are sun loungers, and table and chairs for al-fresco dining.

There is a traffic free cyclist path(Voie Verte) which can be accessed from the house. This provides a scenic route to the villages when walking or riding together as a family.

A free navette stops 100m from the house during the holiday periods leading to Allemond(ski lift to Oz en Oisans) in one direction and to Bourg d'Oisans and Venosc(ski lift to Les 2 Alpes) in the other.

This is an exceptional house from where to experience mountain holidays together that will not be forgotten!

Superbe séjour

Un chalet parfaitement agencé et bien équipé pour un séjour agréable. Décoration soignée, calme et tranquillité sont au rendez-vous Les chambres sont confortables, avec une bonne literie. Les parties communes sont très agréables pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis. Nous étions 16 et avions tout le nécessaire à disposition. La situation géographique du chalet est un atout considérable: à 10 minutes de l’eau Dolle express qui permet d’accéder à la station d’Oz en Oisans et profiter du grand domaine pour skier sur OZ, Vaujany et l’Alpe d’Huez en laissant le véhicule au parking. 

Pour la logistique (courses, achats) il suffit De se rendre dans le village de Bourg d’Oisans et ses nombreux commerces.

Maison de la Tour offers unique cyclist and Ski friendly accommodation commanding an enviable location in the heart of Bourg d'Oisans beside the pretty Rive running through town.

This beautiful house has a light spacious interior is set over three floors and can accommodate ten people comfortably in five nicely decorated French style bedrooms. The house is equipped with all the facilities required to suit cycling groups or families, including secure bike storage, TV, WiFi with fibre, terrace and private furnished garden to relax in.

The first-floor entrance leads into an open plan fully fitted kitchen and spacious comfortable lounge, there is a large dining table seating 10 people. The lounge has plenty of seating for everyone to relax with comfortable leather sofas in front of the fire and 42' LCD TV. There is a large family bathroom with a large bath, shower, toilet and sink. The tower staircase leads onto the first floor with 4 bedrooms (two large doubles with en suite showers and two twin bedded rooms) and an extra toilet. The bedrooms are fresh and bright with high quality Brooklyn Oak furniture, memory foam mattresses and plenty of storage space. 

Both double bedrooms at the front of the house have superb views to Alpe d'Huez.

The ground floor level has the final double bedroom.  

There is ample space for storage of bike, bike tools, track pump and a stand. There is a separate heated ski locker and parking on the street right outside the house. The large furnished garden has a children’s playset and backs onto a delightful stream.

Fantastic base for our 7 day cycling trip with 6 people. Stunning surroundings straight from the front door, and right in the heart of town. We self-catered most evenings, so the short walk to the large supermarket was a bonus, as was the barbecue in the garden and the well equipped kitchen. Everything went smoothly and Gayle was very responsive to our messages. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place, within 2 mins walk of the town centre. Spacious and well-equipped apartment, perfectly geared towards a family cycling / walking holiday. Would stay again.

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. Spent a week there on a cycling holiday. The secure garage for the bikes was a great asset. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed. It is a great location, near to the activity of Bourg d'Oisans, but also very quiet. Gayle was very helpful on check-in, recommending cycling routes, etc. Would happily stay again.

Stayed at this place while riding in the Alps this summer. Everything was great and it was pretty much exactly what we needed. The property manager was very responsive, the apartment was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped, and the location is right in the middle of town with quick and easy access to many cafes and restaurants. The patio is lovely, and the garage with bike pump, stand, tools, etc., was very useful….

This grand cyclist friendly townhouse sleeping ten people over four floors has stunning original features throughout and has a prime location in the heart of Bourg d'Oisans.

You enter the house directly from street level into a huge hallway where there is ample space to store bikes, bike boxes and sports equipment. At the rear of the hallway is the first spacious bedroom with double sofa bed and stunning unique style vaulted en suite bathroom with WC and shower. You can access the basement from the ground floor via a short set of stairs to the laundry with washing machine and access to the back door and the quiet pedestrian lane running behind the house.

A beautiful staircase leads to the first floor where there is a bright and spacious lounge with two large comfortable sofas, side tables, two chairs and a large screen TV, great for catching up with important sporting events. There are large French style windows with views down to the street below which is bustling with tourists during the summer months.

There is a bright and well-equipped kitchen/diner with large wooden dining table and everything you will need to self-cater. The kitchen offers lovely views over the rooftops of Bourg d'Oisans towards Alpe d'Huez and is a great spot to get together to plan your day. This floor has a WC.

Stairs lead to the second floor where there are two spacious and nicely decorated double bedrooms, the larger street side bedroom has an en suite shower room. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and have either mountain or village views.There is a separate bathroom with bath and shower attachment. All beds and mattresses are new as of December 2019 and are good quality.

Spiral wooden stairs lead to the fourth floor and a spacious attic bedroom with two single beds and sofa bed all new as of 2019, en suite shower and separate WC.

The basement cave is accessed from the ground floor and has bike tools and track pump as well as ski rack and plenty of space to store winter sports equipment.

The lane at the back of the house is quiet and offers plenty of space for washing bikes

Gayles place was just perfect for our cycling group. Right in the centre of town and easy access to everything. Clear instructions for check in and super value for money. Bike storage was easy and the facilities in the house met all of our needs. Easy free parking close by was also a bonus. Thanks Gayle and Howard. We will be back.

Great place to stay right in the middle of the village. We stayed with 7 adults and an infant which easily fitted in the larger living room and kitchen. It was a great base for all our cycling tours, all the bikes easily fit in the large hallway. Would recommend, also the pizza from across the street is great!

This lovely two-bedroom terrace house, set over two floors is well equipped with a private garden, secure bike store and a great location in the centre of Bourg d’Oisans. The house offers comfortable accommodation, a cosy interior, superb self-catering facilities, a pretty furnished outside terrace, balcony and fantastic mountain views. A fabulous choice in Bourg d'Oisans for road cyclists, hikers, and families with older children.

This pretty terraced townhouse is well located in the heart of le bourg d’Oisans and offers everything you will need for a self catered holiday.

You enter the house from the garden into the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and a well equipped kitchen with large kitchen island suitable for dining four guests.
There are comfortable sofas, tv, and French doors leading to a balcony with village and spectacular mountain scenery.

There are two double bedrooms, one on the first floor next to the family bathroom and separate WC. The second floor had another pretty double bedroom . All have comfortable beds and plenty of storage for personal items. A third room on the first floor provides a bright work space with a desk and additional storage for personal items.

From the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area there are doors leading to the furnished garden, an idyllic setting for an aperitif after a day in the mountains.

Plenty of on road parking is available at the end of the street, or at the large free town car park located just above the house. The bus station is a 5 minute walk from the house. Here you can take public transport to Grenoble, Alpe d'Huez, Allemont, Vaujany, Les deux Alpes and Briancon.

The house made a great home base for two of us on a cycling trip to Bourg d'Oisans. The ground floor bike "cave" was especially convenient--nice big space to build up the bikes and store them and the travel cases, plus great not to have to carry it all up the steep walkway to the house itself. The house was clearly recently and very thoughtfully renovated. Although we didn't cook in aside from breakfast, the kitchen was really well equipped, super clean, nice fixtures. The living room area was fine for the two of us, might be tight for more people; nice big TV with local channels and streaming services (BYO logins). The first floor bedroom had a very comfortable bed, and the "office" room next door was handy for unpacking and spreading out. The bathroom was really nice--newly renovated, spotlessly clean, plenty of storage, spacious shower with good water pressure. We didn't need the top floor attic bedroom, which looked very cute, but FYI accessed by *very* steep and narrow stairs.

The house in Bourg-d'Oisans was lovely. Really well equipped and very clean. It had a beautiful back drop. The cycle store under the house was excellent. The washing machine was very useful and there was a large airer which meant we could dry out clothes outside. Despite being very close to the town centre, it was very quiet. I would recommend a stay at this place.
