Commanding an enviable location in the pretty hamlet of Huez and metres from the closest piste with easy access to the telecabine in Huez making winter ski in/out possible. Situated just a few kilometres from the main town of Alpe d’Huez which is renowned for its incredible winter sports, and loved in summer by road cyclists, mountain bikers and outdoor sports enthusiasts alike!

This stunning detached 4-bedroom chalet is newly built, stylish and offers luxurious alpine style accommodation for ski and cycling holidays. It boasts excellent facilities, private parking, secure garage for bike storage, ski locker, laundry room, impressive south facing garden and wonderful balcony to take in the breath-taking mountain views.

From the private driveway you enter the chalet on the ground floor into an entrance hall that opens into a welcoming bright open plan living kitchen dining area complete with wood burning stove, beautiful stone floors with under floor heating and the most wonderful views from the south facing windows.

The well planned out modern kitchen creates a sociable atmosphere overlooking the lounge and dining area, it’s well equipped with hob and electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all the necessary items and more to enjoy a self-catered holiday. 

The dining area has a large dining table seating eight with French doors leading to the balcony where breakfast or evening drinks can be enjoyed in front of the impressive mountain views and high peaks of the Oisans.

The first floor is reached by a wooden staircase and houses three beautiful en-suite shower bedrooms all with excellent quality king size beds and two with private balconies. The fourth large attic style bedroom is on the second floor with a king size bed and stylish wet room and private balcony. The bathrooms and bedrooms are modern with a high standard of decoration and comfort throughout. Each bedroom has a TV with the possibility of changing one of the rooms into a twin.

The secure garage and laundry room is for bike storage is accessible from the interior and exterior of the chalet and is equipped with cycle facilities, including track pump, tool kit and work stand along with a washing machine. There is ample space to store bikes, bike boxes, skis and winter sports equipment.

The chalet is a short walk downhill to the small picturesque Village of Huez with a café/shop. At the bottom of the village is the telecabine for reaching Alpe d’Huez and its many excellent facilities such as swimming pool, shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, (or a short 5 minute drive/ride). The ski resort bus stop is located very close to the chalet with the shuttle running from 0745 to 2245, ideal to enjoy the apres ski in resort.

The wonderful location and high comfort of Chalet Fontaines makes this a great choice for ski and cycling holidays with easy access to the pistes and the famous cycling routes right on the doorstep.
